In 1926, radium was the miracle cure, Madame Curie a celebrity and luminous watches all the rage! That is until the girls who painted the watches began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Following the life of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, we see her lead the fight against Arthur Roeder, President of the US Radium Corporation. He cannot wrap his mind around the idea that what is said to be a cure could also be the what is causing the illnesses among his employees. Will Grace's battle and resilience lead her to success? You must come see to find out! A powerful and engrossing drama based off true events, Radium Girls offers a look at the American obsession with health, wealth, and the commercialization of science.
