District Welcomes Cleann Brewer as New Principal of Durham Elementary
Tigard, Oregon – Tigard-Tualatin School District (TTSD) Superintendent Sue Rieke-Smith announced today the hiring of Cleann Brewer as Durham Elementary School’s new principal beginning July 1, 2020. She will replace Principal Rhett Boudreau who is retiring in June after 36 years in education and six years with TTSD.
Brewer returns to TTSD and Durham Elementary where she started her career in education in 2005 as a learning specialist. She has spent the past five years as an administrator in the Portland Public School District (PPS) where she was most recently the assistant principal at Harriett Tubman Middle School. Prior to PPS, Brewer was a K-5 achievement special in the David Douglas School District.
“We are excited to welcome Cleann back to TTSD,” said Assistant Superintendent Lisa McCall. “She brings strong administrative experience and a proven dedication to equitable outcomes for all students. We look forward to her joining the talented staff at Durham as we head into the new school year.”
Brewer has a BS in Educational Leadership, a BS in Special Education, and a BA in Child and Family Studies all from Portland State University. She holds her Initial Administrator License and Special Education Teaching License.
