Tigard, Oregon – Tigard High School (THS) Principal Andy Van Fleet announced today the appointment of Lisa Dailey as assistant principal. Dailey will assume the position on July 1, 2019, filling the role left vacant by Andrew Kearl who will step into the principal position at Twality Middle School.
Lisa has been with the Tigard-Tualatin School District for two years and most recently served as an interim assistant principal at Tualatin High School (TuHS). Prior to her work at TuHS, she managed the district’s Measure 98 curriculum as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) focused on college and career preparation. At THS, her responsibilities will include contributing to the school’s overall climate and culture, advancing professional development opportunities for teachers, and leading in the design and implementation of instruction.
“Lisa has a true heart for students and will be the perfect addition to our administrative team here at THS,” said Principal Van Fleet. “She is a proven instructional leader and a strong champion for equity. We are very excited to have her join us going into the next school year.”
Dailey earned a BS in Mathematics from Portland State University; an MAT from Pacific University; an advanced Mathematics Endorsement and both her Professional Teaching and Initial Administrators License.
