Technology funded by the 2016 Bond Measure is providing more than just new and updated equipment---it is changing how students learn.
One-to-one digital equipment expands options students have for accessing information. It allows them to communicate what they know to broader audiences and in a variety of formats and media. It permits them to collaborate across classroom boundaries. And, it encourages them to solve problems with creative and imaginative solutions.
This year, all 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th graders will have one-to-one devices and all high school language arts and social studies students will have one-to-one mobile technology labs in their classrooms.
This effort continues a broader plan to expand one-to-one technology to more grade levels and subject areas across the district.
