Water Test Results Explanation
As part of its Safe and Healthy Schools Plan, the Tigard-Tualatin School District has conducted voluntary testing for possible lead levels in drinking water at district schools. The district is currently completing its water testing program for 2016-17 and results will be posted as they become available.
The specific results are shown in parts per billion ("ppb"). The results were obtained from protocols specified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA"). For this set of data, "ND" means no detection, which represents results that are less than 20 ppb.
If a source tests high, immediate steps will be taken to eliminate or isolate that source until repairs are made and follow-up testing confirms that lead levels are below EPA standards.
