Summer EBT: October 2024 Message

  1. Be sure to spend Summer EBT benefits before they expire. Summer EBT benefits do expire 122 days after being issued. Email and text message notifications will begin going out to families who have unspent Summer EBT benefits on their card and are approaching the benefit expiration date.

  2. Reach out to the Call Center for help with questions about your Summer EBT benefits. The Summer EBT Call Center remains open to answer Summer EBT questions until November 29, 2024.

  3. Moving? Update your address.  Families can update their address through their Summer EBT online account at sebt.oregon.gov.

  4. Check to see if you need to apply for 2025 Summer EBT

    • Do not apply for 2025 Summer EBT if your family received Summer EBT in 2024. You do not need to apply for 2025. Your family will automatically be eligible for next year.

    • Apply for 2025 Summer EBT if your family was automatically eligible in 2024 because you were participating in SNAP, TANF, Child Welfare Foster Care or Medicaid, but stopped receiving these benefits after July 1, 2024. These households will need to apply to see if they are eligible based on their household size and income. More details about 2025 Summer EBT issuance are at sebt.oregon.gov and will go out to families in early 2025.
