Wednesday, Sept. 27 is our first Dine Out Night of the year. Grab some dinner at Panera Bread on Nyberg Road from 4-8 p.m. and 20 percent of the proceeds will benefit the school. Be sure to show the flier, found under the Parents/PSO tab on the Hazelbrook web site. Then, grab a cup of coffee at Tualatin's Dutch Bros on Friday, Sept. 29, when $1 of every drink purchased will go to Hazelbrook as part of its Buck for a Kid program.
Red Cross Challenges Us to “Prepare Out Loud” at Tigard High School on Sept. 26th Disasters can happen at any time. September is Preparedness Month and the American Red Cross and KGW-TV are partnering together for the “Keeping You Safe” campaign to get our community ready for disasters big and small. As part of the campaign, the Red Cross will host a unique, interactive preparedness presentation called “Prepare Out Loud” on September 26, at Tigard High School, 9000 SW Durham Rd., in Tigard. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation starts at 6:30 p.m. Prepare Out Loud will help audiences understand the science and history of the Cascadia Subduction Zone and the simple steps we can take right now to prepare for disasters of all kinds.
