Adelante Mujeres is offering both virtual and socially distanced and masked in-person opportunities for parenting education series including Abriendo Puertas (Opening Doors- virtual), Años incredibles (Incredible Years in-person and virtual), and Crianza con cariño para adolescentes (Nurturing Parenting for Parents & Caregivers of Adolescents in-person). Also offered are three individual short series titled Más allá del trauma (Beyond Trauma) Workshops – 2 virtual and one in-person
Morrison Child and Family is offering two parent learning and support series facilitated in English – Circle of Security (Prenatal-6) and Making Parenting a Pleasure
LifeWorks Northwest is offering Strengthening Families a parallel series for parent-caregivers and their young teens 10-14 and Fortalenciendo familias in Spanish (Virtual facilitation)
Parenting Together Washington County is offering Nurturing Parenting “Nurturing Hope” parent learning and support series facilitated in English focused on parents-caregivers with children ages birth - 10 with special, health, development or behavioral needs (virtual facilitation in English). Building future capacity for parallel Spanish language facilitation in the future.
Providence Swindell’s and Health Education Center are offering Baby Steps Virtual support groups for new parents and caregivers of babies 0-6 months. The next opportunity to join a six session group is in February AM, April PM and May AM. There are many more opportunities to explore here.

Info from 10/26/21Parenting Together Washington County and its partners have one opportunity remaining for the start of an evidence-based parenting education and support series in 2021! LifeWorks NW our Strengthening Families facilitation partners have pushed the start date of the Virtual Strengthening Families series to Tuesday, October 26th to allow for maximum participation. This is truly a last call for this series which offered in both English and Spanish. It is intended for parent-caregivers and their children 10-14 to participate in an adult group and a child group and later practice skills learned together at home.

Community Partner Adelante Mujeres wants to invite all families, and friends to the Day of the Dead celebration on Wednesday, October 27th, from 4-7pm. They will have a beautiful celebration on the last day of the Forest Grove Farmers' Market of the season. Please share the gorgeous, attached flyers with everyone you know! Enjoy danza macuilxochitl for Day of the Dead, a Catrine costume contest , pan de muerto, champurrado, altars, music by Barrio Mestizo, and much more!
