Division 22 Standards for Public Elementary and Secondary Schools 2023-24 Assurances Report
By November 1 of each year, school district superintendents are required by OAR 581-022-2305: District Assurances of Compliance with Public School Standards to report to their community on the district’s compliance with all the Standards for Public Elementary and Secondary Schools. These standards are adopted by the State Board of Education and outlined in Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) Chapter 581, Division 22.
Below, you will find a link to definitions of the Oregon Administrative Rules as outlined in Division 22 – Standards for Public Elementary and Secondary Schools. You can also click the link to review the Tigard-Tualatin School District’s report on compliance with Public School Standards for the 2023-2024 school year. For any rule reported as out of compliance, the report includes an explanation and a proposed corrective action plan to bring the district back into compliance. The corrective action plan must be approved by the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) and completed by the beginning of the 2025-26 school year.
This report was presented to the Tigard-Tualatin School Board during a public meeting on October 28, 2024, and was approved by the Board.
