Tigard-Tualatin School District has developed a radon plan as required by ORS 332.167. Community members can access a copy of the radon plan below.

 All initial Radon testing was completed at all facilities in 2016-2017. Retesting for radon will be conducted during the 2026-2027 school year, following the established guidelines in the TTSD Radon Testing Plan.  All frequently occupied, ground contact rooms used by children in all TTSD buildings will be tested. Mitigation will be completed as needed according to best practices identified by the industrial hygiene firm doing the testing. 

Any building with significant remodeling that impacts the foundation or ground floor will also be retested at the end of the remodel.
