TTSD Student Pathway
Are you a current BIPOC TTSD Senior who is interested in becoming an educator or counselor in the Tigard-Tualatin School District?
If so, the Diverse Educator Pathway would love to help you on your college journey!
The Diverse Educator Pathway Program provides:
- Summer and Winter internships that give you valuable classroom experience
- A $3000 dollar scholarship every year to be used for school-related expenses
- Monthly affinity meetings with TTSD educators/guest speakers
- Support throughout your college years - financial aid, housing, class registration, scholarships, tutoring, etc.
- Guaranteed interviews with TTSD upon graduation
- A probationary contract with TTSD if you are hired

TTSD Classified Staff Pathway
The Diverse Educator Pathway Program helps guide current TTSD classified staff who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and are interested in obtaining their teaching license.
The Diverse Educator Pathway Program provides candidates with:
- Up to $5,000 a year in tuition reimbursement for the last two year of your Bachelor's or graduate program
- Monthly check-ins with our DEP Connectors or Navigator
- Direct support in navigating the higher education system - registration, scholarships, financial aid, etc.
- Support in balancing work/life/school
- Guaranteed interviews with TTSD upon graduation
- A 3-year contract with TTSD if you are hired
