Educational Equity Advisory Commitee

Purpose: To inform and advise the TTSD School Board and superintendent on the following: The educational equity impact of policy decisions; experiences of underserved student groups; situations that impact underrepresented students; larger district-wide climate; and additional topics related to educational equity impacts student experience in the district.

Time Commitment for 2025–2026 School Year:
EEAC will meet on Mondays starting October 13th, 2025. 

  • September 27th or 28th Retreat

  • October 13th -

  • November 10th

  • December 8th

  • January 5th - Virtual

  • February 2nd

  • March 16th

  • April 13th

  • May 11th

  • June 15th

If we have virtual meetings will be 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm

In-person meetings will be 6:00 pm - 8:15 pm at the TTSD training Center, and dinner will be provided.

Membership requirements: Families/Caregivers, Students, Parents, Employees, Community members, and partners

Membership must be primarily representative of underserved student groups (As defined by Oregon Department of Education historically underserved students include students in special education, English language learners, students experiencing homeless, are in foster care, identified as migrant, and/or students that are Black, Native Hawaiian / Pacific Islander, American Indian / Native Alaskan, and Hispanic) As a district we would like to extend invitation to communities who belong to LGBTQ2SIA+ and other racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse communities.
