New schematic drawings show the design possibilities for a reimagined Fowler Middle School.
Groundbreaking for the school’s rebuild is tentatively expected in summer 2027, and the District hopes to have the new school open in fall 2029.
A team from BRIC Architecture recently completed the schematic designs, based on input from students, staff, and the community. The classroom wing will be three stories tall, and the current gym will be completely renovated rather than torn down. TTSD’s Board of Directors recently selected Skanska USA Building Inc. to lead preconstruction work for the school’s rebuild. Skanska was selected from among nine proposals for construction manager/general contractor services, based on qualifications and competitive pricing.
