TTSD Names Laura Kintz as Principal of Mary Woodward Elementary

The Tigard-Tualatin School District is pleased to announce that Laura Kintz will be the next principal of Mary Woodward Elementary School. Principal Jerry Nihill will retire June 30.

Kintz brings more than 30 years of experience in education, including over a decade of service as an elementary principal in both TTSD and Las Virgenes Unified School District. Most recently, she served in district leadership roles in TTSD, including Associate Director of Teaching and Learning and PreK–5 Director of Teaching and Learning, where she supported instructional improvement, staff development, and student achievement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Laura into the principal role at Mary Woodward Elementary,” said Superintendent Iton Udosenata. “Her extensive experience, collaborative leadership style, and history with TTSD make her an excellent fit for this community.”

Kintz shared her enthusiasm for the new role: “I am honored to join the Mary Woodward community. I have served in many roles over the course of my career and being an elementary school principal is by far my favorite one! The Mary Woodward community is truly special. I look forward to new partnerships and the opportunity to work closely with students and families.”
