Boundary Updates
Priorities for Determining Boundary Updates
- Align with Board Policy JC (School Attendance Areas); Execute boundary process guided by TTSD mission and values found in Strategic Plan and TTSD Equity Pillars
- Minimize the number of schools and students impacted by boundary adjustments
- Minimize changes for families who have been impacted by past boundary adjustments
- Make adjustments informed by long term growth projections, and aspire to create balanced and sustainable enrollment across our schools
- Consider transportation costs associated with boundary adjustments
- Identify and engage families most impacted
- Guide boundary adjustments to represent inclusive, culturally diverse student populations
TTSD is considering three options for a 2025-26 boundary change to increase enrollment at Art Rutkin Elementary.
- Option 1 would draw about 79 students from Deer Creek,
- Option 2 would draw about 79 students from Mary Woodward, and
- Option 3 would draw about 158 from both.
The options are not in any order of preference, and no decisions have been made.
