The design efforts for the Templeton Elementary rebuild have depended on stakeholder input in several forms. 

Templeton & Twality - Individual /Combined Design Committees 

A stakeholder team comprised of staff and community members, identified by the Principals from both schools, were convened to weigh decisions and help ensure no unfair bias towards an individual interest group. Design Committees met individually and together at separate stages of the project to discuss site / landscaping, transportation and other mutual design decisions.

Community Meetings 

Workshops and Neighborhood Meetings were held at outset to introduce community to the project and provide a platform steering early design decisions.

Focus Groups 

Focus Group meetings have been convened with staff, grouped by subject matter and interest, as an opportunity for smaller group discussion and more detailed conversation on individual program needs. These have occurred for each “phase” of the project for staff to evaluate and refine the design of their areas.
