PEER TUTORING PROGRAM:
Mission Statement: Peer support aims to provide easily accessible tutoring and support services to all students within the Tigard-Tualatin School District. Specifically, tutoring and support for students, by students, thus creating a more welcoming and safe space. We believe we can create equal opportunities for all students through our online services and in person services when it is safe to do so.
How it works: With this system getting help is quick and easy. Just fill out the google form, and we will set up a time for us to meet online. All you have to bring is your class material and questions you have and we will help you have a better understanding of what you're learning!
Tutor: Someone above your grade level teach/helps you with the class material.
Sponsor: Someone in your grade level that goes through the class material with you.
Tigard High School does not endorse any adult tutors. Tutors have provided their contact information to us, and we track it for your convenience. Parents and students wishing to hire any tutors should make their selections based on their own judgment.
