  • I am a happily married father of four (three living). My three daughters have blessed me with seven grandchildren, three boys and four girls, ranging in age from 3-12. I lost my son to spinal meningitis at the age of 2 ½, (forty-four years ago) perfectly healthy one day and gone the next, devastating. I lost my first wife to breast cancer 17 years later. I've been married to my second wife, Jan, for twenty-two years. We live in Tualatin where we enjoy golf, friends and family. I spent my career in sales in the food industry for forty years and began driving a school bus in 2010. I played poker with the E Street Band and delivered the first reading at Bruce Springsteen's first wedding (he married my sister, Julianne, in May of 1985).

  • I became a school bus driver in 2013 after wanting to retire from the corporate world and to get out from behind the cubicle to explore other avenues, where I could give back to the community.
Working for school transportation has challenged me to become a trainer, instructor and lead.
My career after high school started as I enlisted in the US Air Force working on top secret jet aircraft.
This allowed many opportunities to travel to many countries, acquiring incredible experiences.
I was raised by a military family and a proud Viet-Nam veteran.
Next was college from which I graduated in fine arts where I gained employment as an advertising artist, production & project manager, marketing director, creative director for 2 fortune 500 companies and
owner of a computer graphics agency.
I enjoy creating music as a guitarist and have been in a few bands. I collect and fix vintage radios, have an amazing toy and stamp collection.
I live in Portland and enjoy the comforts of home and all the wildlife that passes around me.
