Durham Elementary Dashboard (First Month of School)
The Tigard-Tualatin School District is committed to holding high expectations for and a belief in the success of every student. As we come back into classrooms for in-person instruction, fall assessments were held for students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade* to identify students’ current literacy and math knowledge and skills. We also track attendance as we know students are most successful when they are in school daily. In our commitment to informing our community, we have created the following Academic Assessment Dashboard for Durham Elementary. This dashboard is a summary of Durham Elementary's overall performance in the fall assessments. Posted below is a detailed report of the 2021 data compared to 2020 and the collective scores for years 2017 through 2019.
Our fall assessment data informs us of the impacts of online and hybrid learning on students during COVID-19. Teachers and administrators are using this data to create collective and individual instructional plans with the goal of closing the achievement gaps for every student.
This dashboard will be updated following winter assessments and again in spring.
High school assessments are based on the number of credits students have earned and if they are on-track for graduation. This data will be available after the first semester and posted in late January.
*Two-way Immersion (TWI) students currently enrolled in kindergarten and first grade do not participate in these assessments. Those students participate in a Spanish assessment. The data from those assessments will be represented in the winter dashboard.
Attendance (Regular Attenders) = Percentage of Students Attending More than 90% of the Time (K-12).
Math = Percentage of Students On-Grade Level (K-8) based on I-Ready Assesment.
Literacy = Perncentage of Students On-Grade Level (K-8) based on I-Ready Assesment.
