Positive Case: A person who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Presumptive Positive: A presumptive positive refers to a close contact of a confirmed case who is exhibiting symptoms but has not been formally tested.

Isolation: Isolation relates to individuals who have tested positive or are presumptive positive for COVID-19 and should stay away from family members and others to avoid spreading the virus.

Quarantine: Quarantine is the period of time someone who has been exposed to a positive or presumptive case of COVID-19 needs to stay home and avoid contact with the community. TTSD requires 10 days for close contacts to quarantine. Quarantine is necessary due to the risk of infection that causes COVID-19. Symptoms can take up to 14 days to show up, yet an individual may not show symptoms and still spread the virus.

Close Contact: Individuals who were within 6 feet of an infected person for an accumulative 15 minutes or more within 24 hours starting from 2 days before the onset of illness.

On-Site Exposure: COVID-19 contracted inside of school.

Off-Site Exposure: COVID-19 contracted outside of school.
