TRL Spectator Information - Published 3/4/21

  • Based on new information, continued alignment with our Three Rivers League, and Friday’s notification that our counties have moved to the “moderate” risk level, we have updated our TTSD spectator policy (per our last 2.26.21 TTSD Community Newsletter). The “moderate” risk level allows for the following spectator capacity in our stadiums, gyms, and fields, according to the Oregon Health Authority (OHA):

    • Outdoor Facilities:  150 maximum
    • Indoor Facilities: Enclosed gym maximum of 50% capacity (125 sq feet of space per person) or 100 maximum, whichever is smaller.

Based on Oregon Health Authority (OHA) guidance, the number of spectators allowed will vary by athletic program due to the number of participants, coaches, required management staff, and administrative supervision required. For example:  At Tualatin High School, a varsity soccer game could require up to 75 players/coaches/management/ and administrative supervisors; this would leave 75 tickets to be distributed out to the varsity player’s families.

It is important to note that should Washington County return to the “High” Risk level, and OHA guidelines remain unchanged, TTSD would return to a “no spectator” stance.

Therefore, in compliance with OHA guidelines for Athletics: Season 2, and to allow for coaches/management/administrative supervisors to be fully vaccinated, the following will be in place starting March 8, 2021:

Football: (OHA guidelines 150 max - Includes athletes, coaches, officials, spectators, etc.)

Note: With our current number of student participants, we are unable to have spectators. Adding spectators at football games would force us to cut student participants; since students are our first priority, we are choosing to prioritize their involvement over spectator attendance. We know it’s important for you to support your student; games will be streamed live.

Soccer: (OHA guidelines 150 max - Includes athletes, coaches, officials, spectators, etc.)

Only the host school families, for that contest, will have access to tickets.  Please note TTSD’s ticketing and admittance process below.

Volleyball: (OHA guidelines 100 max - Includes athletes, coaches, officials, spectators, etc.)

Only the host school families, for that contest, will have access to tickets.  Please note TTSD’s ticketing and admittance process below.

Cross Country: (OHA guidelines 150 max - Includes athletes, coaches, officials, spectators, etc.)

Only the host school families, for that contest, will have access to tickets.  Please note TTSD’s ticketing and admittance process below.

    Ticketing and Admittance:

    • Each athlete will be issued two non-transferable passes.
    • Passes must be used by family members only.
    • Passholders will be asked to verify by presentation of school and sport pass.
    • Once admitted, passholders will sign in using the TTSD Site Occupancy Sign In Log

    • Pass holders will have to answer questions on log:

Q1) Have you had close contact with or do you live with anyone currently ill and diagnosed with Covid 19?

    Q2) Are you currently sick?

Q3) Do you have a fever?

    Spectator Expectations & Notes:

    • Masks are required (a reasonable accommodation will be provided for those unable to wear a mask due to a disability) and should be worn over the nose and mouth at all times.
    • 6 ft. distance is mandatory between families.
    • No concessions will be sold.
    • Visiting spectators will not be admitted.
    • No students, from the host school, will be admitted unless they are a sibling of the immediate family for that athlete.
    • Immediately following each contest all fans will leave the facility promptly.
    • Entrance to the contest will take place no earlier than 15 minutes before the event start time.
